Hamburg failed to obtain a positive result this week after being defeated 2-1 in the transfer by Werder Bremen. Mergim Mavraj’s team had a positive start managing to get the lead but this was not sufficient to create a distance from the so-called ‘Cold Zone’ in the classification board.

Hamburg got ahead thanks to a goal Gregoritsch at 14th minute and it seemed that the victory would belong to this team, but the end was diferent. Kruse equalized the figures in 41th minute and then Kainz scored the victory’s goal for Werder Bremen in 75th minute. Mavraj, a starter player in this match was not be blamed for any of the goals, but this element is of no importance when the team is defeated.

This defeat leaves Hamburg at 14th place with 33 points while the risk of the ‘Cold Zone’ is still imminent on view of short distance of only two points.
