The Albanian National Team coach, Gianni de Biasi, has sharply criticized UEFA for form chosen to administer the match between Borussia Dortmund and Monaco, which was postponed by one day due to three consecutive explosions near the German team bus.
“This was a false match. Dortmund players were not in condition to play. I saw some terrible mistakes by very good players. They missed the necessary calmness to play only a few hours after that episode that endangered their lives,” declared De Biasi during “Tutti Convocati” broadcast.
According to the Italian coach match postponement in a more appropriate time would had been the fairest decision.
“Today the players are enslaved by the time-table and calendars. UEFA could have postponed the match a few days later avoiding a false confrontation. Especially for Borussia that plays in a totally different level but last night was a ghost,” said the Albanian National Team coach.
