Silvano Martina is a well-known name in Italian football. Former goalkeeper popular teams like Inter, Brescia, Genoa, Torino and Lazio 80s to the 70s, has now become a manager.

Gianluigi Buffon is the most prominent name among the players he currently manages. So it’s easy to say that the 64-year-old man is an expert with regard to goalkeepers and their attributes. Asked by the Italian media about the current performance of Thomas Strakosha as part of Lazio, where he is currently back as starting goalkeeper, Martina said the 22-year-old is showing the right personality.

“He must grow up in many aspects, but has shown a good personality. I see calmness in his way of doing. But it’s up to Lazio to assess if he will remain or not a starter goalkeeper. If they see him as the goalkeeper of the future they should not buy anyone else. But there are things that I do not know,” stated Martina.
