The leader of the opposition, Lulzim Basha presented on Wednesday the platform for the next parliamentary elections. Speaking to journalists at the end of a meeting with his allies, he said that right wing forces unified attitude that elections fate should be decided by the citizens not criminals lays the basis of this platform.
"Today's meeting aimed a coordination of the parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition. We confirmed our attitude that elections fate should be decided by the citizens not the criminals. Vote's purchasing based on the poverty and government's corruption will not be allowed. The fact that Albania has turned into a paradise for the organized crime increases the risk for a deformed electoral process. Opposition's platform has been presented since May 17 while Prime Minister, Edi Rama has made every effort to hamper this process," said Basha.
He underlined that electronic voting; financial resources limitation and other aspects are the main elements of this platform.
