Some 1800 employees of the Energy Power Distribution (OSHEE) that operated under extreme weather conditions during these last days will be given a financial reward. This declaration was made by the Minister of Energetic and Industry, Damian Gjiknuri and OSHEE Administrator, Ardian Cela, during an inspection in Kukes, one of the most affected areas by the cold weather and power supply interruptions.
Gjiknuri stressed that all OSHEE employees that remained in alert despite the very low temperatures will receive a financial bonus.
"OSHEE acted in the right way coping with extreme weather conditions. Financial bonus will be given to 1800 employees that enabled uninterrupted energy supply to the families in the rural areas," said the Minister of Energy.
Meantime OSHEE administrator, Çela laid the stress on the fact that the reform undertaken last September enabled employees' salaries increase, life' insurances and their equipment with new uniforms.
